The New Horizon School Care Writing Club (NHSCWC) is a group of students who are passionate about writing and want to make a difference in their community. Our club provides an opportunity for students to explore their interests in creative writing and to use their writing skills to make a positive impact on their community.
Our mission as a club is to empower students to use their writing skills to express empathy, care, and make a positive change in the world around them. We believe that by encouraging students to write about issues that matter to them, and to their community, we can help them become more empathetic, caring and compassionate individuals.
Our club activities include a variety of writing-based activities such as writing letters of support to people in need, creating care packages for people experiencing homelessness, writing to local politicians to advocate for issues that matter to our community, writing and publishing articles on local issues, and volunteering in local organizations to write stories about the work they do.
Our goal is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where students can feel free to express themselves and to use their writing skills to make a positive impact on their community. We believe that every student has the potential to use their writing skills to make a difference in the world, and it is our job to help them unlock that potential.
